About Win LanderWin has been a professional entertainer for more than 10 years. His show is based on a foundation of smooth musical and vocal performances, a clear and even sound, and a variety of great songs. He is comfortable up front with a participative audience or in the background at any social event. Win's talents abound; he sings and plays acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, and the harmonica. The result is a presentation ranging from an intimate acoustic performance to a fully orchestrated, rhythmic party. Win arranges, performs, and sequences all of his own background music using a Korg Triton keyboard workstation. He employs the finest sound equipment in order to fill a room with music and still not be too loud. Win's music selection, though somewhat eclectic, is a striking blend of standard favorites, old country, rock, and folk, a repertoire approved time and again by all ages. College night, ladies' night, or bingo night, Win's musical talent, warm sound, and variety of styles always seem appropriate. He has performed all over the Omaha area with such credits as Billy Frogs, the Safari Bar, Old Chicago, and the Embassy Suites, all located in Omaha's Old Market District. Currently, you'll find Win at the Vertigo Lounge in Harrah's Casino, Cheeseburger in Paradise, the River City Star Dinner Cruise, Pop-n Docs, and the Firewater Grill (for a detailed listing of Win's schedule, visit the Calendar link). He has performed in Kansas City, Missouri, and has been flown to Paradise Island, Bahamas, to do a show for the KC Builders Association. Paradise Island, incidentally, became MTV Island the following year. Coincidence? Who's to say. Even with a variety of venues to perform at, Win’s favorite performances are the many backyard, pool, promotion, holiday, birthday, graduation, and wedding parties that he has had the honor to accompany.
